Task 1 Developing creative writing through PicLits

PicLits is a combination of words placed on an image to capture the essence, story, and meaning of the picture itself.

 

Here you have the steps in order to create one:

• Enter http://www.piclits.com/

• Click on "Sign up" and create your account.

• After signing up, click on "Home" and select the picture that you like the most.

• Click on "FREESTYLE" (not on "DRAG-N-DROP") and write a sentence that is highly related to the picture.

• Once you finish, click on "Blog or Share", copy the embed code and paste it in this task, in a comment below.

Task 2 VoiceThread

VoiceThread is a revolutionary online tool that allows us to create multimedia albums in which we can insert images and audio (among others). Your task is to create one VoiceThread related to the topic that you choose (see the topics below).

Steps:

• Click on https://voicethread.com/ and then on "Register".

• Once you are in, click on "Create".
  

• Click on "Add Media" and upload the images that you want to use in your VoiceThread (you can choose images from your computer, media sources, or URL). 

• Give a title to your VoiceThread (see the topics below) and click on "2. Comment".
  

• Here you can start adding your comments on each of the images. Click on the balloon which shows a "+" and click on the microphone (remember that we are looking for audio, so you need to record yourselves).

• Once you have finished all your images and audios, click on the title of your VoiceThread and on "Share".

• Then, on "Copy Link", and make sure that you allow anyone to view and comment!
  

• Paste your links in this task, in a comment below.
